Report: Turkey may transport Russian oil without Western services

ANKARA, Oct 21 (PRIME) -- Turkey may buy and transport Russian oil without Western financing or insurance, Treasury and Finance Minister Nureddin Nebati told the Wall Street Journal on Friday.

When asked whether Turkey plans to fulfill a G7 plan of introducing a limit on the prices for Russian oil, Nebati said that the measure has not been enforced.

Turkey can adapt to the new situation without violating sanctions and will pursue its interests, he said.
